Mommy and Me Monday

I really wanted to participate in today's Mommy and Me Monday...it's the 100th edition!
Congrats Krystyn!
But to be honest, I don't even know where my camera is right now!
It's been a crazy two weeks.  In between my mother in law leaving and 2 hospital stays, I can officially say I am exhausted.  Right now I feel like every muscle and bone in my body hurt.
Yup, I even had to take some ibuprofen!
Yup, this life with triplets is hard!
Good thing they are cute and smiling, giggling and squealing !
No current picture, I'll cheat just a bit...
here is a picture taken exactly one month ago...We had a doctors appointment and I dressed Sofia up just for fun.

I have to do better.
I have to keep up with this challenge of getting behind the camera, but it's super hard.
Some days I don't shower, most days I don't have make up on, and right now my face is not at its best. Breakouts!
But how sad is this...not one, not even one picture of the kiddos and I on Christmas.
I need to find that camera!

Thought it would be fun to look at my past Mommy and Me posts...on my very first blog....when I only had one kiddo....when I lived in AZ...long time ago.  You can see it here.

Well, that's it.

Help is here!

We did it! We survived 2 weeks on our own, without any family staying with us.  My mother-in-law left on January 3, and everything was all good until we had Sofie's hospital scare! Super daddy was amazing.  I am so proud of how well my hubby handled it all. And me too! You know how hard it is for a mama to lose control of things, but we had no choice.  I was not leaving my Sofie alone in the hospital. He did so awesome, he even packed up the boys to take Bella to school.  He is one great daddy!

We've fallen behind on quite a few things.  Our list of "Things to Do" remains the same, and it's driving me crazy!  The mess everywhere I walk is so hard on me.  But deep breaths and reminding me that everyone is healthy and smiling help me get through it.

Daddy has had 3 weeks of work! The rest of his family leave.  He goes back tomorrow! As hard as it has been, I have enjoyed our two weeks together on our own.
Grandma and Grandpa arrived yesterday!  While the hubby and Bella were off at the airport, I survived our first witching hour with the three.  It was horrible! Crying, Screaming, Sobbing! I stayed calm but it still sucked! I will definitely need some strategizing for that when I am by myself again.

But for now, we are grateful to have some extra hands again.  The flexibility to be able to run to the grocery store help me feel somewhat normal.  And for the next month, hopefully there will not be too much of this...

All three eating at the same time
My attempt to sort and fold laundry, about a week's worth of just baby clothes.

And because I tried to catch up on the laundry...lots and lots of bottles piled up!

Hope your Sunday is wonderful!

January 11-a day late!

Hard not to think back to what was happening last year around this time... January 11, 2011.
I remember it so clearly.
We were so excited for our pregnancy and you can read about it here.

Funny how life is...
A year later, we are taking the trio to the pediatrician (AGAIN) for their fourth Synargis shot and Sofia's follow up after her hospital stay.

Life is full of surprises.

I'm wondering what our next January 11 will be like?
The trio will be 20 months (or 17 months adjusted).
Will they be walking? Will they be talking? Will we be able to go places with all 4 kiddos?
Will we still be so tired?

So...that was what I had planned on posting yesterday with a cute picture of the three all dressed up to go to the doctor...but yes, life is full of surprises.
During Sofia's follow up appointment, she had a fever and was having trouble breathing, her respiratory rate was in the 70's and with a little bit of retraction.
She was readmitted to the hospital for one more night.
We are back home again, but this hospital stay deserves its own post.

Update

Sofia doing much better. She got off oxygen around midnight last night so almost 24 hours. Albuterol is finally on an as needed basis...it was every 2 hours yesterday! Her respiratory rate is currently in the 30s (reached almost 70) and her lowest sat was 80. Her doctors and nurses cannot believe she was a 25 weeker! Her cough and wheezing may stick around for awhile but so thankful this RSV did not do much more.  We all know it could have been so much worse. She is a true fighter and I wish I could have taken a picture of her kicking, screaming and taking her canula off.  Praying we are all under one roof tomorrow night.

Sick sofie

I hate you RSV

My Sofia tested positive for RSV and is headed to the hospital soon. Thankfully her sats are in the 90s but her breaths per minute is in the 60s.   She is requiring some oxygen right now and albuterol.  Prayers please...waiting for ambulance right now.

Mommy and Me Monday~The girls!

Happy New Year!!
Isabella and I made it to church today!
Great way to start the New Year!
We can't really go anywhere with three babies.
Kinda stuck at home and a bit out of routine since daddy is taking time off.
This whole RSV lock down thing is starting to get to me.
Good thing I have three lil ones that require lots of work to get out of the house.
Micropreemies or not...I think we'd be staying home anyway.

Actually got the girls ready and dressed today so of course it was time to take some pics!
Good thing, cuz my New Year's Post is taking much longer than anticipated!

For now...it's
Sisters forever!

And our first Mommy and Me Monday of 2012, and a first with both my girls!

Happy 2012!

Join us!
